Why NSI Protection Plus?

Our service plan is an economical way to extend the terms of your product's manufacturer parts & labor warranty.

Most manufacturer's limited warranties leave customers with no protection against the rising cost of repairs.

Even the best products can malfunction and the most minor repairs can cost hundreds.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Electronics can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new electronics should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Good screen for a paperweight.

Anthony 8/25/2021

once i realized the gb2 was too weak to do pretty much anything, i decided to use it for writing. big mistake. the keyboard goes to sleep too quickly and there is no setting to change this. if i stop for a second to think of a word, and the keyboard goes to sleep. when you start typing again, it takes a few keystrokes to wake it back up, so a bunch of letters are missing from whatever you just typed. plus, every time i type a word with "ou" in it, the "u" comes out as an apostrophe or is absent. (ex: tho'ght) just bad design choices. i can't think of who can use the gb2 or what it was designed for. it is nearly useless. $1000 paperweight.

Ok laptop terrible tablet

Jerry 1/5/2020

I was sold on this as a great tablet with a laptop to boot. My understanding was it would be a great companion to my Samsung phone. Well I've had it for about 3 months now and just can't make myself like it. The tablet uses Microsoft and not Android so all of the apps are a little different than what I'm used to, not in a good way, and some are not available at all. The laptop part is blaah to say the least. From the springy keyboard to the flimsy way it stands make portability a pita unless you have a solid surface to set it on. I just wish I had bought a tablet like I went to get instead of getting sidetracked into this. I'm also very glad that my main laptop is still kicking along so I don't have to use this thing.

Happy Customer

MeMo 41 10/7/2019

Before I become customer of Samsung I used different devices from companies and I was not so happy about the devices they sold me. Consequently, my teacher told me about Samsung devices and it made my eyes and I took my first device from Samsung and I never exchange this with different devices from another companies. Because here really care for the customers and never let customers feel so sad or nervous about the devices, so I am so happy to be customer of Samsung. I had problem with Samsung Galaxy Book 2 and I exchanged it to Samsung Galaxy 6S for one reason only. In my home I am having computer desktop from Lenovo and it has Windows 10 Home Edition, and the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 made problems my computer desktop. For example, if I delete something from computer desktop, it will delete from Book 2, too. For this reason, I exchange it to Samsung Galaxy 6S and I do not find any problems about this. Samsung company is the best in the world and all the employees are doing the best for the customers until they do not feel nervous and sad about different devices. However, another companies never care and never make customer to feel happy about the devices they give to the customers. For example, I had MacBook Laptop from apple and I went to the store for repairing but they do not exchange the device for any reason. For this reason, I left apple company and I become Samsung user. I never want back to Apple for rest of my life and I will stay to be customer of Samsung forever. At the end, I recommend everyone never change or leave Samsung and stay forever with Samsung because Samsung company care for their customers.

Barb in Poky 9/7/2019

I got this week ago and have been locked in s mode. I have spoken to microsoft help analyst and Samsung support personel and none can help. I tried a service request but I am in Eastern Idaho and they dont have one here. The microsoft store will not launch! I can't download anything or get out of s mode without the microsoft store. Can it be replaced? I bought it for my job but it cant do much of anything in s mode and no store. i gave it one star because it looks good.

Great computer but know it's limits

Corrosive_Mike 7/7/2019

First a little background. I have owned several versions of the surface, a few ipad pros, and other 2-in-1/tablet devices. I was interested in this computer due to its always connected feature and unique processor. Knowing that there would be limitations I still decided to jump in and see if I could live with this setup. So far this has been amazing. The battery life is spot on and easily lasts a day and a half which you could even get more if you tried. The AMOLED screen is amazing and blows any other tablet or PC out of the water. For simply youtube and netflix, this is my new go-to screen of choice. The kickstand makes that even better too as you can set it up anywhere. The processor is fast provided you know it's limits. Any app from the windows app store works without a hitch in S mode. If you take it out of S mode, you can get chrome and some other apps but know going in that some may not work. I haven't tried to game on this yet but given the hardware, I don't think that would be verry possible. For what it can do, which is video watching, word processing, spreadsheets, email, note taking, web surfing, this is hands down one of the best PC experiences because you never have to plug it in and the screen is so darn good. The pen experience is also good but I don't use it much, so I can't really comment too much there.

Portable and better than most think

Bayou J 3/9/2019

I brought the Verizon version of the tablet for optimal portability and usage of finally getting detached from a desktop. My usage isn't heavy anymore so I don't need the power of a full blown desktop, but didn't want to pay for some of the more expensive laptops either. I found that using windows S fit my needs and that the device is quality indeed. The use of the snapdragon makes this preform very well on battery life and still have just enough processing power to run the apps and programs that I need. Screen tech is AMOLED which is top notch, great form factor, included keyboard is good, and audio is average but sounds better with headphones and is dolby atmos speaker certified. I have dolby atmos Headphones so my experience might be better than most. Overall for the price and features I picked this over the Surface Go, Surface pro, Macbook air, and pretty much any other laptops. If you need to run alot of processor intensive programs and custom software this device is probably not for you. But a causual user that just needs the basics with added bonuses then this is more your cup of tea so to speak.

Was a crashing nightmare

Jicsteelman 2/26/2019

I purchased full priced 999.00 and it crashed 7 times in nine days. Each time going back to factory reset. It would not even run windows. The LTE Verizon network worked well. If you want a web browsers get a much cheaper unit. I am an degrees MIS professional. Pass on this one.I returned mine. Lost fifty bucks on restock fee and hours of time getting this PC to run

Not so great

IUsedToLoveSamsungNowIDK 1/14/2019

Firstly, despite the processor, it's not as fast as I would like it. The tablet is also not smooth on the corners and at time is very uncomfortable to hold. I tried looking for a cover to help this issue but unfortunately it looks like no one is selling them at this time. I prefer to use it like a computer rather than a tablet. The keyboard is ridiculous, its light and flimsy and sometimes doesn't respond well when connected. My biggest problem is the corners of it is starting to fall apart and I only had it for 2 months. Samsung is refusing to replace my keyboard, they said they only repair and replace the device itself. This is very disappointing. But other than this, it's just okay, the best feature to me is being able to use the pen and doodle on the screen. It's not worth the $999.

RAM Small

Old Man 1/4/2019

I just received my Galaxy Book 2 from Verizon. This has a great feel in your hands, from the metal body to the great keyboard. The only problems I have is there is only 4 Gigs of Ram and it is Windows 10 S. Other than those 2 things I love it so far.

Do not buy this!!!

yourstuffisgarbage 12/19/2018

2 weeks after you receive this device (purchased brand new, btw) the screen will stop working, the screen will illuminate but it will be a black screen of death, nothing will work to fix this and Samsung nor Verizon will take responsibility for faulty hardware. they will send you back and forth between both companies giving you the run around saying its the other companies responsibilities. DO NOT buy this product unless you want a thousand dollar paperweight!

Surprised How Good

BradJR 12/11/2018

I have been testing this computer and it seems to have hit all the right points for me. Pros: -Extremely portable and light, -Beautiful Screen, big enough to get work done on it -Instant ON (like a phone) -Fingerprint works faster than the IR Hello cameras -Memory management makes good use of limited RAM -Great PEN that is compatible with my Galaxy Note phone -Decent Sound (Dolby Atmos on AKG speakers) -Keyboard and Pen included Cons: -Driver's not always available as this is ARM -No place to store pen (not even a loop on the keyboard) -No gaming (not a big deal for me) -4GB RAM! (this is my biggest gripe, the Note 9 phone has more than this) I was a little concerned about 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage, especially at the price it was, but the Snapdragon seems to manage the RAM better and it hasn't been an issue. I am always using more than the 4 GB, but it doesn't seem to slow down like it would if I was on an Intel platform. It seems to put apps to sleep kind of like on a phone. The space issue is easily solved with a MicroSD card. The main reason I have liked this so much is that I get several days of battery life. It it is great not to have to worry about charging the device. The pen works great, and is compatible with my Galaxy phone. I also like how instant the computer turns on and is ready to use (again, like a phone). The only draw backs that I have about this device is that because it is ARM based, anything you want to plug into it might not have a driver available. So far most things I have tried work OK (ethernet adapters, hard drives, HDMI adapter, etc), but I couldn't get a USB to serial adapter to work, which is kind of a serious issue for a field tech working on routers etc (looking into AirConsole 2.0 to bypass that issue). The performance is really good if you stick to Windows Store apps and Edge browser. I ran the thing for a few weeks in S mode just to get a feel for the limitations. I did miss Chrome a bit, but Edge held up admirably. I've since switched out of S mode so I can run a few specialized applications. I haven't bothered to try any gaming on this device, and probably won't. I hear that is it horrible because it has to emulate an Intel. This device is for work, so that isn't an issue for me. For me, this device is going to be a keeper. I really think that they would have had a star on their hands if they would have bumped the RAM to 8 GB (and maybe storage to 256). I think most people look at the specs, and the price, and then they move on. I'm glad a didn't, I can't get this combination of power and battery life in any other device on the market right now.

A good competitor to the Surface Pro

Just Saying 11/30/2018

First know what you are getting, windows 10s is worthless to anyone but kids. it wont allow you to download anything that is not in the Microsoft app store. luckily its easy enough to upgrade to the home 64 version of windows 10 and its free. The pen should have been designed to secure to the tablet the way the Surface Pro does, the fact that it doesn't is kind of a let down. That being said pen works well with both the Samsung applications and the windows applications. and if you miss the mouse it can double as a 1 button mouse as well. finally the keyboard, probably the best part of this bundle the buttons are a perfect size and the tactile feed back it gives is excatly the level you would expect from a full size keyboard. the touch pad is responsive and right/left click input is split right down the middle. Battery life: not sure where samsung is getting the 20 hr mark from. maybe with the tablet barely on not doing anything. still I have been averaging about 10.5 hours which is still pretty good so no complaints. also it uses a usb c cord in order to charge so its a plus for all you galaxy collectors. Computing power: forget about gaming, snapdragon is not going to get you there but simple multitasking and a awesome display makes this a good choice for school or work Finally memory: 4 of ram and 128 storage along with the ability to expand using a micro usb makes it extremely versatile. Summery: not as good as the surface pro but has plenty going for it. combine that with the ability to use the LTE network is what sold this guy for me.

Not a great tablet, and a poor computer

MechEng 11/24/2018

I had always been stuck with Apple products until I bought the Note 9 a few months ago. It is so much better than my old iPhone, I figured I'd give the Galaxy Book 2 a shot instead of a new iPad. That was a mistake. Firstly, and most importantly to me, the Book 2 is unable to run a piece of option trading software I use frequently. The software is designed for windows 10 and only requires 2 GB of RAM. Being able to use this software is the reason I bought the Book 2 over an Android tablet. The S-pen on the Book 2 is nothing like the Note's. It does not charge, the button has no functionality, and there is no easy storage for it. It was designed to be carried around separately in a pen protector, but I don't like the idea of having a $60 pen in my pocket or briefcase. I wanted something easier to transport. Using it as a PC is difficult without being able to right click. I am aware that I could buy a mouse, but again, i don't want something else to carry or lose. A mouse would also be hard to fit in my pocket, which means I'd always be carrying a bag. There are some other issues and a few things to be said in its favor (a very sharp, clear screen). Overall though, it's just an OK tablet, because Windows 10 isn't a great tablet OS. As a PC, it's pretty poor. The Book 2 compromises too much to try to be a laptop and a tablet. I will be taking it back and eating the $50 restocking fee and $60 activation fee. I'll keep my laptop, and just get another iPad. Sure, I'll overpay for the hardware I'm getting from Apple, but it's better than paying $110 to annoy myself for a few days again.
